In The Dark Ocean Depths

In the depths of the sea,

And the heavens above,

Secrets are forgotten,

And the Ones we love.

Clouds cannot burn,

Yet souls cry in pain,

From suffering endured,

And the lack of rain.

Souls in tutus and ribbons,

In layers of pretty pink lace,

Entwined, hand in hand,

Bowed heads to hide their face.

Souls with oppurtunities,

And burning life still left,

Are stolen away into,

The dark ocean depths.

The last of their essence,

The fires of dawn and twilight,

For souls burn in the sky,

Slipping into starlight.
